Personal Writing Challenge

  

Kim Knox threw down the gauntlet and I accept. Nevermind that as of 15 September I’d have to write approximately 2100 words a day to make my gutsy (some say ludicrous) goal. It’s mine, my own, and no one else has to take up this insanity!

Negativity is not welcome here since I’ll be doing plenty of that on my own. Supportive comments and kickass whoo hooos!, on the other hand, are.

So I hear you, Kim Knox, vixen of word challenges. I’ll see your wordcount and spur us on until we both exceed our goals! Come hell or high water. :)

I dub this insanity the Whiskey Straight ‘08. Cuz that’s what I’m gonna toss back when I reach this goal by 11:59 pm December 31st, 2008.

November 30, 2008 Word Count:

2 wips finished, finally! I’m at 73%. Look, I’m not sure I’ll be able to make the 390K goal, but I can’t help but be proud of the amount of stuff I’ve accomplished in such a short time. Keep writing! I will be.

November 23, 2008 Word Count:

4% This time…what a heckuva week. Thanksgiving is coming! And it’s time to get ready for NaNoWriMo’s end.

November 16, 2008 Word Count:

Another 2% down! Woohoo! Let’s see how this coming week goes. :)
