It’s here. Wow. Some days I didn’t think this day would come, and yet other days made me long for more time. Monday begins the start of a two-part moving session.
My family and I will be moving to California.
Then I’ll be completing a contract job overseas for a little over a year.
So for the next couple of months I’ll be family-focused. Yes, I’ll still be writing and working on The Beast.
I’ll also post when I get time, but the blog is being set aside for a bit.
For those going to conferences this summer, have a blast! For everyone else, just enjoy these next few months. I look forward to chatting with you all later.
I should be all settled in on the new job some time early September. The Beast is expected to be up for download the last weekend of August. I’ll miss you guys!

It is T minus 20 days in the Montgomery household for the “Big Move” also known as the SNAFU or CF. Let’s just say, my family and I will be very happy to get settled in and have this move be over.
While it’s not the move itself that is driving my normally calm husband over the edge, it is a huge contributing factor. What is it about a move that makes all the people in your-soon-to-be-previous-job suddenly remember a thousand things they wanted you to do before you leave?
Or who knew coordinating with a moving company would be this difficult? To be honest, the only smooth part of this move has been the airlines.
There are few things about a move that’s easy and heading off to a new job is exciting and terrifying at the same time.
On the writing front, I’m still working my tail off in deadlines (personal ones). I’ve got a new release in July and one in August or September. Internet will be intermittent for a bit. I’ve already gone no mail on all the yahoo groups I frequent.
I’ll miss you all. So if you email me during the next few months, I’ll try and answer. If you want to know how everything’s going, check out my twitter.
*Note: Image came from The Luxury Travel Collection which is full of things I wish I could use on my trip. LOL. They have a gorgeous website and I think I’m going to have a character use their services in a future book.

Due to the impending move, I’ve been writing furiously to make sure I get my books in early so edits can go smoothly while I’m in transit. As a result, I’m not able to update the blog as much as I’d like.
It looks like there will be more books released soon. One or two in July, one in August, another in September. It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks. I’ll keep you updated as I know more. Until then, it’s off to the dungeon for me. See you when I emerge.

It’s finally here in one kickass collection! Bound in Lust, Bound in Fury and Bound Eternally are in this set. They’re my first books from Changeling. How awesome is that?
Check it out HERE!
One bite by a rogue demon has left Elena in the throes of a dark curse. It will take all Drake’s power to halt the change and save her life. In the depths of their dark lust she becomes something other, a bond mate to a demon of lust. Will it be worth the cost?
In the shadows a deadly adversary begins moving the pieces, creating a trap that will bring Drake and Elena into the darkest reaches of their hearts. Neither expects the depth of hatred from the Brotherhood or the lengths to which they will go to destroy one demon. Drake, it seems, has old enemies and they’re willing to overthrow Hell itself to destroy him.
Publisher’s Note: This collection contains three previous published novellas, Bound in Lust, Bound in Fury, and Bound Eternally.

In the age of twittering (or tweeting or twitterating, LOL) there have been some pretty cool things to come about. One of my favorite is a twitter-based horror Ezine called Tweet the Meat.
My favorite one so far:
Ribs cracked, flesh tore. The corseted girl fell, limp. He checked his gaudy book; he wasn’t sure he’d got this bodice ripping thing right.
I almost died when I read that. Anyway, go forth and follow. There are some VERY talented 140 character or less horror writers out there.

Saw this on Larissa Ione’s blog. Just messing around. What fun!
**Edited to add: I got annoyed with the digital voice message every time I came to the blog so I deleted the Trek video I made. It was fun for a day or two but I don’t enjoy sound effects, music, etc when I come to a website, so it was driving me crazy! LOL.

Playing for Keeps, my new short (hot flash) for Changeling is done and in the bag. My editor will give me the yay or nay on it, hopefully soon. For now I’m turning in for a well deserved rest. Night, all.

The edits are done and the submission is on its way to the editor. Have a great day, all. I’m opening another project and am hanging out at all my favorite blogs today. Those with an * are not work/kiddo safe.
*Jet Mykles has some new artwork
Renee George has some great videos from RT 2009
And I really want to make this recipe for perfect fettuccine Alfredo
