On this post, I’d given you all a preview of the month of May. As you can see some of them were crossed out already. One of them was Sven. The 70 days of sweat, begun by Alison Kent and continued by so many wonderful people… Some of them were kind enough to stop by and give me a hurrah! The 70 days officially ended yesterday, the 16th.
My original goal was 4 novellas and it was done…
1. Spaceport: Bounty…coming in at 24K
2. Rookery Cove: Ocean’s Call…coming in at 22K
3. Del Fantasma: Bermuda Triangle…coming in at 15K (it goes to the editor tomorrow after I tweak it a bit)
4. The Shadow Demon…coming in at 20K. I’ll tell you more about THIS one, later. *WEG*
For the FIRST TIME I have finished a Sven challenge! *throws confetti* 81K holy wow. Who knew?
I feel accomplished…and ready to get to work on another project!

That was a much-longer-than-expected hiatus! The move was successful, somewhat. We are still finding the carnage of their horrible packing jobs. Just to give you an idea of the age group of our packers:
My comic books (I read them, and could care less about the value! I READ THEM like they’re novels…well used) and comic book cards were triple wrapped and padded, reinforced and carefully tucked away, while my Japanese folded steel cutting knife ($125 retail) was thrown in a plastic tin with a bunch of tools (Imagine the gouges!) and my self healing cutting mat (again over $100 retail) was shoved in the back of the moving truck, warped beyond repair and with a HUGE gash in the middle. It’s a SELF HEALING MAT. But my comics made it okay. So did my video games, again extremely well padded.
I’m thankful for movers insurance. There are a lot of other broken items, like the painting the mover stepped through during the unload…but I digress.
This weekend I’ll be giving you guys the scoop on my first ever ménage release! M/M/F yumminess. It’s one of the latest Rookery Coves from Changeling Press and comes out on Thursday! I have an interview with the wonderful and fabulous Emma Ray Garrett on her Pret Ops series…her ending book was delicious! I’ll have to give an impromptu review as well.
I’m working on something delightful for Aspen Mountain Press’s Del Fantasma series. More on that as soon as I hear back from the editor.
I hope everyone is having a good weekend and I’ll hopefully be popping my head into the Changeling Bar and Grill later today (when I wake up) or tomorrow. Have a great rest of the night.

So here’s the up and coming fun stuff for the month of May…
1. Awesome interview with the fabulous Emma Ray Garrett
2. Contest coming!!! Home Spa basket built by moi, complete with handcrafted card.
3. Excerpts and reviews galore! Excerpts from my books and a few of my friends. I’ll also be reviewing a few books. No worries, it’s jmho.
4. Free stories relaunch
5. A post about my new toy, the ASUS eee laptop. A lifesaver and only $300. LOL.
6. We’re Moving this month! The BD (big day) goes down in two weeks and trust me when I say this move was unexpected. I get an office though, so I’ll be posting pics on that.
7. SVEN ends. I’m so bummed, but I’ve been tearing up my word count! Only 15K to go to make my goal. Wish me luck. *WEG* It’s done now. As of the 16th.
8. We’ve got a new dog. We pick him up from the shelter on Monday. He’s a Bassett/beagle mix and the cutest thing. His name’s Charlie! OMG, he’s wonderful with the kiddo!
9. Memorial Day free read entitled Yellow Ribbons. Yes it’s hot and sexy. *WEG*
10. Rookery Cove: Ocean’s Call releases on the 23rd of May!
I hope everyone’s having a great start to the month and I’ll be back in the swing of things soon.

Ah, it’s done. FINALLY. Rookery Cove: Ocean’s Call is done and I’m drinking a glass of wine in celebration! No beer for me since my doctor has all but forbidden it. *sigh* Red wine–A GLASS–is allowed, however…so you better believe I’m sipping that baby!
The wonderfully awesome Michelle Hasker has given me a reward image for finishing…and let me tell you, he’s delicious. *WEG*
I’ve seen the rough for the cover…OMG guys, it’s phenomenal!
So without further ado…my reward:
My answer…a resounding YES!!! So it’s on to finishing my Del Fantasma.

Happy Friday! YAY. Unfortunately I don’t have a flash fiction for you this week, as I’m knee deep in edits and deadline. I did, however, find something very cool! Bound in Fury is up on Changeling’s feature for Big, Beautiful, and Bold. I’m honored. There is also the best quote I’ve ever seen, courtesy of Mae West:
“Curve: The loveliest distance between two points.”
Ain’t that the truth! Check it out HERE on Changeling’s Main Page.
In other news, my Rookery Cove: Ocean’s Call is up on the coming soon page. There’s nothing really there yet, but the link is here.

I’m a guest blogger at Cata Romance today. Action. Adventure. Romance…let me know what you think!

I received an email from a fan of the Bound series this morning!!! YAY!!!
Selena, the lovely Vampiropolis creator and chipmunk friend (It’s because we’re short…*WEG*), posted Michelle Hasker’s Irish Dreams and my Spaceport:Bounty as recommended reads! OMG how awesome is that???
She said: “I loved this book. It had action, sci fi, a kick ass, strong and sexy heroine and a hot, sweet, strong hero.”
Awww, thank you Selena! *hugs*
Also, Danette B of Danette’s Chatting Lounge gave Phenomena authors some love as well! Thank you Danette! You should really check out her blog. She has some of the coolest interviews!
