Deadline Dungeon for the weekend

Saturday, May 30th, 2009

DD Due to the impending move, I’ve been writing furiously to make sure I get my books in early so edits can go smoothly while I’m in transit. As a result, I’m not able to update the blog as much as I’d like.

It looks like there will be more books released soon. One or two in July, one in August, another in September. It’s going to be a busy couple of weeks. I’ll keep you updated as I know more. Until then, it’s off to the dungeon for me. See you when I emerge.

Bound in Lust Collection Releases!

Thursday, May 21st, 2009

Bound in Lust (Collection)It’s finally here in one kickass collection! Bound in Lust, Bound in Fury and Bound Eternally are in this set. They’re my first books from Changeling. How awesome is that?

Check it out HERE!

One bite by a rogue demon has left Elena in the throes of a dark curse. It will take all Drake’s power to halt the change and save her life. In the depths of their dark lust she becomes something other, a bond mate to a demon of lust. Will it be worth the cost?

In the shadows a deadly adversary begins moving the pieces, creating a trap that will bring Drake and Elena into the darkest reaches of their hearts. Neither expects the depth of hatred from the Brotherhood or the lengths to which they will go to destroy one demon. Drake, it seems, has old enemies and they’re willing to overthrow Hell itself to destroy him.

Publisher’s Note: This collection contains three previous published novellas, Bound in Lust, Bound in Fury, and Bound Eternally.

Tweet the Meat

Wednesday, May 20th, 2009

In the age of twittering (or tweeting or twitterating, LOL) there have been some pretty cool things to come about. One of my favorite is a twitter-based horror Ezine called Tweet the Meat.

My favorite one so far:

Ribs cracked, flesh tore. The corseted girl fell, limp. He checked his gaudy book; he wasn’t sure he’d got this bodice ripping thing right.

I almost died when I read that. Anyway, go forth and follow. There are some VERY talented 140 character or less horror writers out there.

Trek Fun

Saturday, May 16th, 2009

Saw this on Larissa Ione’s blog. Just messing around. What fun!

**Edited to add: I got annoyed with the digital voice message every time I came to the blog so I deleted the Trek video I made. It was fun for a day or two but I don’t enjoy sound effects, music, etc when I come to a website, so it was driving me crazy! LOL.

Revenge of the Ants

Friday, May 1st, 2009

Well it must be that time of year. If you’ll remember from last year, I was overrun by ants. As a matter of fact, the last time this happened was May 28th of 2008. The wild Texas storm weather has rolled in and the ants have decided to travel into my home. Specifically in my writing cave. So we could call the exterminators again and have them come out and spray. It might actually work outside of the wet season, but it’s May and won’t be dry again for quite some time.

So, I’ve decided to move out of my writing cave. It’s harder to stay focused away from the corner of quiet I’d cultivated, but it’s far better than killing bugs all day while typing. I have less than two months left in this house and the ants will be history.

So that brings up an interesting question: What insane distractions are keeping you from completing your goals and what have you done to work around them?
