Is in the bag…

I finished it. Whew. First ms completed in the new year and it feels fabulous! Have a great night all, I’m heading to bed.

Today is one of those difficult writing days I’ve heard about but never experienced. The day a book gets pulled off the virtual shelves. I really enjoyed this particular anthology since it was my first one, and the first novella I’d ever written. Cupid’s Arrow, the anthology with J.M. Snyder and Elisabeth Jason, has been retired.

This is the hard part of the business…watching them disappear into the ether.

While both J.M. and I will have our stories re-released as individual ebooks (check out J.M.’s story A Haunted Love HERE), it’s still a sobering moment. Cupid’s Arrow was our first introductions to one another and J.M. has been a jewel ever since.

So I’m off to write some more naughty goodness and tonight I’ll say goodbye to Cupid’s Arrow with a glass of wine and a print out for the archives. Have a wonderful day all.

Award season is wow-ing me. I’m really shocked and amazed at the amount of nominations for my books (not to mention actually winning or coming REALLY close in some of them!).Thanks to my CP’s for letting me know!

Big, Blooming and Wild: Texan Bound won Honorable Mention at the Love Romances & More Cafe for best Sci Fi/Fantasy 2008.

Del Fantasma, the complete series, won for Best Series at the Love Romances & More Cafe for Best Series 2008.

Babes in Toyland 2 is nominated for best Anthology 2008 at The Romance Studio’s CAPA’s.

Spaceport: Bounty is nominated for Best Sci Fi  Romance novella 2008 at the Fantasm Awards.

Masqued Tails is nominated for Best Shapeshifter Romance novella 2008 at the Fantasm Awards. (Wow, really??? It wasn’t out that long in ‘08…)

According to some other people I have a few nominations at Preditor and Editors, but I haven’t made it over to check lol. The lists are usually really really long.
