Hi, This is “the Hubby”,
I’m pleased to announce that Dawn completed NaNo Wrimo, and quite a bit early.
I have kidnapped her so that she may regain her humanity and so that our family might get a little time together over the Holiday weekend. I will unlock her office door as soon as her fits of obsessive writing mania have passed. Until then she belongs to us.
She will be returned well fed, happy and wearing a nice warm fuzzy sweater.
This message will pretend to self destruct in 30 seconds. (In all actuality, it’s going off in 21.3 seconds. I like to surprise people.)
Look at this fun and festive cover by the wonderful Renee George! Gingersnaps, a Changeling Press multi-author series, will release in the next couple of weeks! I hope you all have a great rest of the week. *WEG*
Welcome to Serendipity Estates, where accidental meetings, a little magic, and a bit of hot lust are a recipe for love ever after. We hope you enjoy your stay.
In an apartment complex where fortunate accidents in love occur, Donna and Jack will have a Christmas present mix-up that shows a little bit of their kinky side.
1st things first…what happened to wicked wednesday? During NaNo (National Novel Writing Month during November) I’m focused on finishing that novel.WW will return on the 3rd of December.
Second…ever have one of those days where the words won’t come? Where you’re focused on everything but the goal? I have those every once in a while. Yesterday was one of those days. A little over a month ago I wrote a post telling you guys that I was at my wit’s end with writing time and wasn’t sure what I would have to do to find balance again. Maura Anderson had some great suggestions that I’ve implemented into my writing regime. So let me tell you how I find time to write…
*warning: chalked full of personal life stuff. so click more if you want to read…* (more…)
Whiskey Straight Update from me to you! This week was intense! 70 days of sweat started and we hit the halfway point for NaNoWriMo. Are you meeting your goals for the week?
My word count walking into the weekend was looking rough but I toughed it out. Saturday morning had me up well before dawn when all other rational/sane people were sleeping in…I know, I’m crazy.
This week started with a bang: Acceptance of Burn Out in Liquid Silver Books’ Romantic Suspense antho Worth Every Risk. Yesterday was another ground breaker since I’ve had another book accepted under a different pen name (a contemporary romantic suspense novel). I’ve also had two short stories accepted for Changeling Press and my cowboy contemporary is at 11.5K. Winter Break is due to my editor tomorrow and it’s ALMOST DONE!!! YES! Nothing like waiting til the last minute. *sigh*
And with all of us sick and work being *intense* this past week, I’m looking forward to some down time after Winter Break is in.
And now it’s off to bed for me. Yes, technically I should update tonight (Sunday night) but I’m so ready to *start a new week* I’m focusing on the goals ahead and leaving this insane week behind me.
G’night/G’day all.

November 16, 2008 Word Count:
I’ve updated my Coming Soon page. The fabulous images are courtesy of my webman, Jerry. Hope everyone’s having a good start on their writing weekend! I’ll be burning the midnight oil to make my min reqs.
I’ll be posting more soon. Right now I’m recovering from a hellish three weeks at work, 70 Days of Sweat writing challenge is underway, NaNoWriMo hits the halfway point this weekend, and my Personal Writing Challenge is a bit off track, but I’m getting there!
If you’ve stuck it out with me this long, please email me or leave in comments something you’re thankful for.
I’m thankful for my family, friends, and those who enjoy reading.
Have a great night all!
First of all, did you know that 70 Days of Sweat have started? I’m already doing well. *WEG* I’ll post my updates later today.
Next, some REALLY exciting news…BURN OUT has been contracted by Liquid Silver Books for their Worth Every Risk Romantic Suspense anthology. Wooo, that’s a mouthful! I’m super excited! It’s for their sterling line which means a buildup to an intense sexual relationship. Highly sensual tension.
The story takes place in a fictional town called Bristo, Alaska. I set it about two hours west of Anchorage. I’ll tell you more as we go! How exciting. *WEG*.
