Boring web organization stuff coming…

Are you sure? *sigh* Okay then…

Some of you may notice that I changed up my links and categories in the side panel. Since I’ve started tagging my posts more appropriately, they seemed to fall under the umbrella of certain categories. Of course, the change has caused more than a few posts to fall under “Miscellaneous” since their original category is now gone. So if you’ve been coming into my blog via a category, I apologize for any 404 errors you receive. I’m still trying to recategorize my back posts, but it’s taking a *very* long time.

I have a collaboration I’ve been working on for some time. Can’t really say much about it until it’s complete but I really love these characters. I’m not easy to write with so it’s amazing when a story really comes together.

I’ve watched so many friendships crash and burn over collabs gone wrong than almost anything else in this crazy writing world.

But I digress…

I love a good space opera and this one has all the goods. Have a great night all. I made my 2200 word goal for the night but I’m too tired to post a snippet.

Well, I did it. I made my goal, barely…LOL. I also got my first round of edits for Masqued Tails. The editor really “Liked it a lot,” so that eases my mind a bit. I mean, I’m obsessed with Asian themed spirits with tails, but that doesn’t mean everyone else is LOL. Masqued Tails involves a Kitsune and was a LOT of fun to write. How did everyone else do yesterday?

I’ll be updating my word count image on the weekend since I’ve barely got time to make my word count goal. Spending time with the family is mandatory (makes us ALL happier LOL) :), so I’ve only got a set writing time of about two and a half hours.

Okay ladies and gents, Kim’s read the challenge and she’s responded! Mwahahaha.

So this is day one for me. I’ve set up a Twitter PWC (Personal Writing Challenge) account if you’d like to toss in an update or two. We can keep each other motivated. I’m off to my EDJ (evil day job) and from this point on my Dawn Montgomery and the PWC will be kept updated.

Geesh, I’m not a wishful thinker or ADHD, am I? Like I mentioned above, just three of these 14 finished by the end of the year would be fabulous. I have NANOWRIMO coming so I expect several of these to be knocked out in November. As such I’m starting my own little Nano in October… Join me if you’d like…it’s up to you. For those avid readers out there who want to participate, read as much as you can during that time. I’d love to hear what you’re up to!

I promise I’ll catch up on email tonight/tomorrow! I haven’t been checking it for several days due to travel/job issues. My ASUS eee laptop is currently my only outlet to the world.

I hope all is well. Several very good friends are going through Ike right now, so please keep them in your thoughts. The evacuation is still continuing through parts of Houston. With Andrew they had power loss for 2-4 weeks. Think about your freezers…milk…medicines…meat, all gone. If you’re in the tropical storm/hurricane path, let us know in comments.

Ah, gang, ’tis the season. I’ve got too many projects to name and very little time to do it in. So I’ll be entering…

Lynn Viehl is a woman after my own heart. I read her Unemployment Fantasies and cried I was laughing so hard. There are so many things I would love to do/say if it was my last day at my day job. So many. LOL.

Remember when I showed you the pic of my writing CAVE? I gushed all over about my Asus eee and how much I loved it. Alison Kent has an ASUS eee laptop!!! She’s started a new writing journey and I check in every couple of days to see how she’s doing. It’s *really* working for her and I’m super excited! Especially since I want to run out and buy her next Blaze!
