When I make my goal of 390,000 words at 11:59pm CST December 31st, 2008, I am going to give myself something I haven’t taken in years. An honest to goodness vacation. Two weeks with no writing. No stress. No deadlines. No Day Job. I’m taking time off. I need to know where I stand by mid-December for it to go down the right way. So I’m keeping a close watch on my wordcount.
